SPRINGHILL SIGNS HOPPERS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - On Feb. 24, Spring Hill Music Group, Inc. signed one of Southern Gospel music's premiere family groups, The Hoppers, to an exclusive recording contract. The quartet returns to the studio this week to work on their debut Spring Hill release, yet to be titled, due in stores nationwide this summer.

"We have admired the virtues of this company for a long while," say The Hoppers, "and are proud to be a part of the Spring Hill family."

The Hoppers include Claude and Connie Hopper, as well as their two sons Mike and Dean. Dean's wife, Kim, joined the group in 1989, bringing her award-winning soprano vocals and Mike's wife, Denice, joined the group in 1996 as their accomplished piano player.

Since their inception in 1957, The Hoppers have delivered heart-felt Gospel music, undergoing several member changes, but never losing site of their mission - to spread the message of the Gospel. The current members have earned numerous fan-voted awards from the Singing News magazine's yearly awards ceremony including 1999 Mixed Quartet. "We're delighted to be working with The Hoppers to enhance their already thriving ministry and reputation as America's favorite family of Gospel music."
